SYNOPSIS

Set in the vibrant and diverse kingdoms of West Africa before the arrival of colonial powers, Dynasties of the Coast follows the journey of a young Igbo man born into a regular family as he sets out to explore the vast and uncharted regions of his homeland. As he navigates through the intricacies of trade routes, political alliances, and cultural differences, he encounters love, betrayal, and self-discovery. His story becomes intertwined with that of a Senegalese princess whose life is shaped by the pressures of royal duty and the impending changes on the horizon.

Throughout thirteen episodes, the series sheds light on the rich historical traditions, vibrant cultures, and legendary figures of West Africa, all while exploring universal themes of love, honour, and ambition.
